“Act before you think - your instincts are more honest than your thoughts.”
— Sanford Meisner
Introducing Kacie Swaffield
Kacie Swaffield is a New York-based actor who found her love for acting at 11 years old when she began learning Meisner-based techniques from a student of Sanford Meisner himself.
In her small Arizona town, working in class was the only thing that really made her feel purpose and find her truth. She was certain she wanted to continue her education after high school.
Upon acceptance into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, she, along with her mother, dog, and three cats, packed what they could fit into her PT Cruiser and moved to New York. After graduating from the program, she was accepted into the Academy’s prestigious NY Company. Her credits include Masha in Dying For It, Boggett in Phoebe in Winter, the titular character Macbeth, and, most recently, Diomeda in Troilus and Cressida. After receiving an education from some of the best teachers and professionals in the industry, she is ready to embark on her theatrical and film career.
